WMSPA Non-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment Policy

Adopted: March 2025

The Wildwood Manor Swimming Pool Association, Inc. (“WMSPA”) is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment for all members and providing a healthy and safe environment free of discrimination and harassment. Preventing discrimination and harassment begins with respect and adherence to the law and our policies. Therefore, consistent with WMPSA’s vision and mission, WMSPA prohibits discrimination against individuals on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, political ideology, gender, gender expression, age, pregnancy, marital status, national origin, disability, veteran or family status, or any other status or condition protected by applicable state or federal laws in connection with any of WMPSA’s programs or activities in a manner that creates a hostile environment for any members of WMPSA’s community.

Verbal, physical, sexual or any other form of harassment that belittles or demeans any individual on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, political ideology, gender, gender expression, age, pregnancy, marital status, national origin, disability, veteran or family status, or any other status or condition protected by applicable state or federal laws is also strictly prohibited. Prohibited harassment includes conduct that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with a member’s experience or creating an environment that is hostile, intimidating or offensive.

Sexual advances; physical conduct of a sexual nature; sexual or racial jokes; racial, ethnic, national origin, or disability slurs; and other harassing language or conduct that is meant to intimidate or that negatively impacts a member’s participation is considered harassment and is strictly prohibited.

To promote equality, WMSPA will administer and conduct all practices and procedures including member benefits and recreational and social activities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, political ideology, gender, gender expression, age, pregnancy, martial status, national origin, disability, veteran or family status, or any other status or condition protected by applicable state or federal laws. This policy applies to all members at WMSPA-sponsored activities no matter their authority or position. WMSPA also requires that all vendors and contractors similarly adhere to strict non-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.

Incidents of harassment and discrimination will be met with appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal, expulsion and/or membership termination.
